Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday Robert and I took the kids the local pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins. The girls had such a blast finding the Pumpkins and picking which ones we should bring home.

Apples, Apples, Apples

 

I love apples, and I mean I love apple pie. So with Jess Elliott, we decided to do some apple canning. We wanted to go to the local apple orchard but they had a bad crop this year. So instead we bought the apples then we spent 2 days canning them. We made Apple Pie filling, Spiced Applesauce, Regular Applesauce, Apple Butter and Apple Cinnamon Syrup, we also plan to make Apple Jelly, but we will see how ambitious we get. I have really enjoying learning how to can and what it takes. I may start getting into it, but I am not sure yet. I have enjoyed the company and learning something new.

A couple of months ago, we got together and made some jams and that was a lot of fun. and I found a new jam that I ABSOLUTELY love. It is Blueberry Lime. It was AMAZING!!! I still have a bunch more of this homemade jam to try and I look forward to it because It was something that I did. The jams we made were Strawberry Kiwi, Strawberry, Mixed Berry, and Blueberry Lime. I wish I had a picture of all of them. We certainly had a good time.

Last Day Swimming

Before the pool closed here at our apartment complex Robert was finally able to come swimming with Brittannia and . So it was a whole family affair. Jasmine liked being in the water and trying to "swim". She would kick her legs and splash. It was really cute. Brittannia would even try to swim to.

I turned the hose on

So last week we moved into a house which has been so great I love having a yard for the girls to play in and for Hershey Well yesterday we were outside since it was nice out and Britannia figured out how to turn on the hose. She then filled up a bucket and then continued to play with the hose. It was such a blast watching her play and enjoying the yard. Jasmine even crawled over to get in on the water fun. 

Also Brittannia has taken to helping Jasmine learn how to walk. Anytime Jasmine is standing she wants to make her walk. So she had to help Jasmine play in the gutter and "helped" her walk in the water.

Its a bird, Its a Plane No Its........Brittannia

WE went to a friends Birthday party and while there Robert started throw Brittannia up and catching her. She loved it. but she wanted to me to to throw her up some so we have a few pictures of the differences between when I throw her and when Robert does. .

Bed hogs

I know I should be a lot more diligent about making Brittannia sleep in her own bed, but I am lazy about it and by the end of the day I just don't want to deal with the crying and the fighting that is involved with it.The other night when Robert had off we had gotten the girls down and I went in to our room to change and found them like this. They are so small but take up to much room.  

Poor Hershey

Poor Hershey he gets to be the one who helps the girls learn how stand on their own and crawl over. he sure does get pulled on and beat on. He takes it all in stride though. An will just get up and leave them when he has had enough. But for being such an old man (14 years old) he puts up with a lot with these two. 

 Jasmine is a bit nicer than Brittannia is, she wont step on him if she can avoid it. She just uses him and a stool.
