BABY ON THE WAY

Hello there,
I would say going almost a year without updating this is pretty crazy, Life has just gotten away from us.

to start out, I have gone back to school, and was doing great till in Oct, Robert and I receive some wonderful news. We were going to be parents. (Robert was more excited than I was at first. and I am not ashamed to admit it.) IT was such great news because in April of 2010 after General Conference, both of us kept getting the feeling (or spirit whisperings) that we needed to start our family. And on the first day of the October Conference we found out that the Lord was blessing us with a little one.
This wonderful news did change a lot of our plans like me continuing college at a full time status. But we feel so lucky to be able to bring a new life into this world.
The next huge event that hit us was around Christmas time Robert's grandmother fell and was admitted into the hospital with a broken hip and some other health issues. It was here that we found out that she was suffering from deminsha. And she also had i believe 3 more mild to serve strokes. After a few weeks in the hospital she came home and had another fall I believe was taken back, and put on hospice. It was a the week before Christmas that her spirit left us for the spirit world. It was a sad time but we all knew that she was no longer suffering in pain here.
So Robert and I left to spend the Christmas holiday with my father in San Diego. We had a such a wonderful time. It was a vacation that we both really needed. Robert got to tour the USS Midway and go shooting with my Dad. I was finally able to go to the temple with my father and that was an amazing thing to experience.
When we got back to Arizona, we got a call on New Years Day from Robert's mom letting us know that his grandfather had passed away. He was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in July of 2010 and from that he just continued to get worse. He did have some good days, but we believe that he felt that it was his time, We were blessed to have one more Christmas with him. So over the course of 3 weeks Robert lost both of his grandparents. They had lived good lives and were able to see 4 of the soon to be 6 great grandkids.
For grandpa's funeral Robert and were able to to find out that we are going to be blessed with a little girl. We have chosen the name of Brittannia Uzilla Moses. We choose Brittannia because we both love Ireland and we found out that Brittannia is the Gaelic way of say Britain. And Uzilla because it is my middle name and a family name.
So the new semester began and it was rough one for me.I first need to explain that for the First trimester for me was a very brutal one. I was always throwing up and sick. Traveling was such a big hassle, and we had traveled out to Utah and AZ during this time. Lets just say that every airport on our way out there and back got a little of present. I was throwing up every time we got off the plane. It was very horrible for me. But Robert was such an amazing man through this whole thing.
Anyways, when I got into my Second Trimester, all the "Morning Sickness" ( I laugh cause it was ALL DAY long) was gone, but I started to have some real bad heart burn And man was the shock. But it was mostly at night and man did that suck. And since I was doing 17 credits this past semester it was really hard to try to get all the homework done. In all Robert and I were able to get through the semester.
We did move into a big place, it is a house with a fenced in yard, and Bones and Hershey have loved being able to run around in yard.
Now we are coming to a close of my pregnancy, and we have decided to have a home water birth. Robert and I feel so completely comfortable with our midwife and the idea. We have the tub already to go. We have everything ready for our little bundle of joy to come. We now waiting for her to come. Which should be soon.

Since being Pregnant, I have found out so many things about my family. That my mom had pretty easy pregnancies and that her mother had back pain for her contractions Both of theses are what I have had/am having. I have also found out who in our family really supports us in the decisions Robert and I make about our lives. In all, our life has been changing and for the better. We are happy and are getting excited to Welcome Brittannia into our family.
