Talking to Grandma

So before bed I decided to call Grandma Sue and let Brittannia talk to her, and this is what she did. Oh don't mind that she is in a diaper, she has been getting a heat rash lately because of the heat here so we let her go clothes free a lot.

Last week we took Brittannia back to the water park/city pool. This time she LOVED it. She had sun fun playing in the water, and playing with the little jets. She even slashed herself and didn't cry.

Helping Grandpa

Today Grandpa decided to wash his truck so he let Brittannia come out and help him. She had more fun playing in the water and putting the soap in the bucket then anything else

4th of July

Since we are living here in Liberal we were able to go to the Hutton's 4th of July party. This is something I remember doing as a kid when I was a kid. We went a little early so we could swim in their pool. We went the day before to help with some yard work for the pool and party. So that is why we got another chance to swim. It was so nice to be able to swim and cool off. Brittannia just loved swimming around and playing in the water. Since the pool is salt water and not chlorine I did not have a problem with her trying to drink the whole pool. I will post a video of her playing.

They had one of those mesh floating things that worked great for to play in,

 After playing in the pool we dried off and got dressed for the party. And it was some great BBQ food. Corn on the cob, potato salad, hamburgers, steaks, beans, pies. and lots lots more.

Brittannia wanted to eat the corn right off the cob. and she did really well too.

 Robert Hutton even had Potato Guns for us to play with. So of course Robert and Dad had to shoot them off.

Meade Lake

Last Wednesday for the YM/YW/Achievement days/Cubs Scouts activity we went to Meade Lake. it was such a great thing to because it has been so flipping hot. I have gotten pretty sick with the heat and such. Nothing like when I was sick with Brittannia, but I am just constantly tired and feeling like I am going to throw up. Also with this heat Brittannia has gotten a heat rash on her bum but it a finally clearing up and she is doing great. 

As for the lake, it was so nice to go and play in the water and cool off. Brittannia just loved it. Especially when she was able to get out of her floaty and walk in the water. She would try to drink the lake water, and then she loved being swung around. Brittannia had such a blast and it was a joy seeing her play and enjoying herself. I think she was just so excited to be able to cool off and have some fun doing it too.

Helping Hand

The other day when I was taking out the trash, Brittannia decided she wanted to help. So she grabbed the bags and tried to walk out with them. She is also trying to help with laundry. She will try to carry the basket back to the rooms so we can fold the clothes. She is starting to become a good little helper around the house.
