New River and the dogs

Today Robert and I took the dogs for little outting. Couple weeks age Robert finally showed me how far we are living from the New River. It is like 4 miles from our house. I have been living that far from the river for 4 months. Ya it is pretty neat. Anyways, the dogs seemed to have fun at parts of the time we were down at the river. They pretty much whined and wanted to be with Robert and I. It was really cute but annoying.

Moving on, since Hershey is a lab, he went stright for the water. And of cousre he doenst drink by staying on the bed the way Bones does, he has to get in the water the whole way in.

The trian runs along the river, and as we pulled up, a train came along. So Bones and Hershey got to see thier first train. At first they didnt know what it was, but they soon just ingored it.

Everytime Hershey would come back out of the river Bones would attack him. And I got this great shot of Hershey going after him. It was cute.

Bone was trying to fight with Hershey but didnt quite get Hershey's attention


robert started throwing sticks into the water for the dogs to go get. They did go after them for awhile but soon lost interest. And jsut whined that Robert was out of thier reach.

Bones took the stick away from Hershey as he brought it out of the water. Bones wouldnt get in the water the way Hershey would.

That was about as far Bones would go. Even to fetch the sticks.

But in all we all had a good time down at the river. And it was a outting that we needed. Also we are doing well and nnot too much going on.
