Dad Jerry's Birthday Celebration

Yesterday, Sunday, We had our ususal Sunday family dinner. Since it was SO FREAKING nice outside we ate out on the front porch of my in laws place. But this wasnt a normal dinner, becuase tomorrow, Tuseday, is my father in law's birthday. So instead of trying to get everyone together on that day we celebrated in yesterday. It has the number candles 20 on it. For his 20th anniversary of his 39th birthday. The 0 is actually the bottom half of a 8 cause we didnt have a 0 candle. But it worked

Daddy and Mickayla swinging after dinner. MicKayla walked over to the swing and wanted to swing. It is fun watching her grow up.

So that is what yesterday was. As for today, it has been a interesting day. To start the day and well what makes this a interesting day is, Josh was off to work and he gets about half way down the road and notcies the car smoking so he turns around to head back home. But sees that is smoking bad so he shuts off the car gets out and opens the hood up. THE CAR WAS ON FIRE!!!!! Really flames and all. So he calls Lesile tells her what is happening, Lesile calls dad. So Dad and mom head down to where the car is with a fire extinguisher (sp). The get there and use up the entire extingushier. And the fire is still going, so Dad calls the fire department to come out. By the time they got there the car was pretty much totalled. The tries of the car were melted down to the metal rims, the driver door window was gone and everything that was in the car was metled or well just plain destroyed. Josh was able to get his 100,000$ keys to VA Tech cause they were the magnetic ones,out and himself out so he wasnt in the car when it went into flames.

So you can see it was pretty intense. the fire Department said the fire started in the dash. But we wont know for sure till we get the report back.Everyone is fine and we are just glad no one was in the car. So we are pretty blessed in that.
