North Ogden Fish Farm

So this is a bit late but here we go. Over the week of Robert and I's 5th wedding anniversary we went up to Utah. We wanted to spend some time with family and even try to go to 5 different temples. It was a VERY long drive 15 hours to be exact. But we had such a wonderful time. we were even able to look at a few different jobs and such for Robert and I was able to see what it could be like if we moved up there. Which I know a few family members would love. Anyways here is a run down of what we did that week. Monday we finished driving and spent the day just hanging out at Grandpa's. Then on Tuesday we went to the North Ogden Fish Farm. I thought it would be something fun to do with Brittannia and Man was I right. SHE LOVED IT!!!We got there, gpa put some worms on the hooks and let her put the pole in the lakes/ponds. She really didn't like holding the rod, but she loved touching the fish, she really wanted to help take them off the hooks. She was not shy or grossed out by the fish.

here she is trying to help daddy take the fish off the hook and out it in the bucket
Robert even fished some and caught a few fishes. I was more interested taking pictures and watching Brittannia ply with the ones we had caught. Gpa went fishing but he ended up dropping his pole into a pond so he took Brittannia's and caught a few more fishes. In all we caught 5 fishes

She was totally in love with touching the fish.
While we were watching Gpa fish, Brittannia reached into the bucket where we were keeping the ones we had caught and grabbed the biggest fish she could and pulled it out of the bucket. She had no fear. When she dropped it, she wanted to do it again. I was so fun to watch and see her experience these different textures and smells.

After we had caught enough fish, we went to the little stream and washed our hands off.
While we wait to get the fish measured and filet Gpa and watched the fish and when the guy came to get them he let Brittannia touch/hold one of the heats that were still. It was still pumping some, Brittannia didn't flinch or anything she did try to squish it though.

After touching the hear Aunt Nini took Brittannia to the Bathroom to do a real good hand washing. (aren't they so cute)
While Brittannia washed her hands, Grandma Sue and Jasmine watched the guy filet the fish. Jasmine would not take her eyes off the fish, it was like she was memorized by it.

In all it was so fun and a good laugh. We had fish for the BBQ we were going to have at Aunt Nini's place on that Saturday.
