Pumpkins and crawling

So I have been really bad about getting this things updated and all. I get ready to and then homework, house work, or Brittannia calls. Like now. hold on..... okay now I have to go change a diaper. Wow does the life of a mom never stops. I love it though. I am being kept on my feet. Brittannia is now crawling around and just loves to to be on the move. She will take her toys or whatever that catches her fancy and push it around the living room floor. We have to put up barriers to keep her in our sights or she would go all over the house. One of the ways that I found to keep her happy and busy so I can get things done around that house is putting her in her bassinet and letting her play She ends up sucking/chewing on the edge.

Brittannia just loves be active and is such a happy little girl. Though we are having issues with separation from mommy. She will cry whenever I leave the room or when we have to drop her off at the babysitter's. We are trying to work on making her okay with not always having
mommy but it is so hard for me to not want to go to her and comfort her when she is crying. It does

make me feel bad for Robert when does the crying when he is holding her or trying to comfort her. Robert is such a good sport about it though he is so patient and wiling to work with her.

Now onto some fun things. On last Sunday evening we carved our pumpkin. I was ready to do some clean up, but Brittannia just sat there watching Robert clean out the pumpkin and was amused by it.

She was almost statue like, just watching her Daddy, then when it came time to do the actual carving she lost interest and decided to play with her duckies, but she would push them over to where I was do the carving. But in all she was such a good little girl and stayed out of the pumpkin seeds and all. Sometimes I wonder if she is my child, but then she will do something that says "yup she is yours Shantell. "

Last night was our Ward's Halloween Party, Robert had to work but I went and we had fun. Brittannia and I just stayed in the gym and talked with friends, but she went as a pumpkin that her Great Auntie Joy got her. Everyone loved her costume, especially when she had the hat on. Brittannia even shared her toys with her friend Zoie.

In all we have had such a a great time. We plan to go to the town's Halloween fun days then we will be going to the Bennett's place for a Halloween get together/Party/BBQ. At those Brittannia is going to be a skeleton she got from her Nana.
